Individual therapy
Dr. Yanovitch offers culturally-responsive individual therapy for adults struggling with a range of concerns, including OCD, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, depression, disordered eating and body image concerns, substance misuse, psychosis, self-esteem issues, relationship issues, and life transitions. She is well-versed in working with individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community, and provides an affirming space for all gender identities and sexual orientations.
Sessions may be scheduled in person at the office in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, or virtually via HIPAA-compliant Telehealth services.
Fees & insurance
Dr. Yanovitch is not in-network with any insurance, and is considered an “out-of-network provider”. She provides paperwork (a “superbill”) monthly for you to submit to your insurance company to use your out-of-network benefits. Session fee is $325 for a 50-minute session. There are a limited number of spots available for sliding scale fees based on need. If you require a sliding scale, this will be discussed in the initial phone consultation.
Psychodiagnostic assessment
Psychodiagnostic assessment is a comprehensive evaluation process designed to understand your psychological functioning and identify specific mental health diagnoses including disorders related to anxiety, mood, trauma, psychosis, substance use, impulsivity, eating behaviors and body image. The assessment involves completing checklists about your symptoms, engaging in a series of clinical interviews with Dr. Yanovitch, and may also include discussing your symptoms with trusted people or other providers in your life with your consent. Psychodiagnostic assessment can be helpful in the following circumstances:
for people who are considering therapy and are looking to better understand their mental health symptoms first
when there is a question about a specific diagnosis such as OCD or psychosis
for people who are already working with a therapist and would like a second opinion on diagnosis or treatment plan, or feel their current treatment progress has stalled
*Please note that Dr. Yanovitch does not provide psychological testing or specialized assessments for autism spectrum or learning disorders.
Fees & insurance
The assessment process takes approximately 4-6 sessions lasting 60 minutes each. Fee per session is $390, and includes consultation with other professionals involved in your care. Consultation with family and friends is billed at the normal session rate, and will be prorated based on length of consultation. Similarly, if you require a written report of findings, that will also be billed at the session rate.

She is happy to discuss her qualifications in this area further during the initial phone consultation.
military veterans
Throughout her clinical training and as a licensed provider, Dr. Yanovitch has valued working with military Veterans, former service members and their families.
